Only problem: We did not stay long enough! Gorgeous, elegant, warm, inviting and comfortable grand home in an idyllic setting with beautifully maintained grounds. But The Retreat’s charm is surpassed by gracious, attentive owner, Miriam and her daughters. Truly, the epitome of Irish hospitality, generosity and gracious living. Some of our favorite memories will always be the kids playing cards on the floor while the adults relaxed in front of the nightly lit fire. But the most amazing highlight was the spectacular dinner created by private chef, Shane, on our final night. Beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Our party of 10 with ages from 7 to 83 all left with full hearts and memories to last a lifetime. Looking forward to returning.”
